Andy Warhol, Recycling Male Nudes on Ebay, Travis, Second Life, and Cycling Le Tour de France

‘Sue Brown at Andy Warhol’s Grave’ was included in the Friends in Deed Benefit at Sotheby’s in 1993. As a result the sale has been included in artnet.com’s database. I’ve offer it in auction on Ebay occasionally. I am recycling my male nudes auctions from years past as well.

Daniel Lechner recently visited the studio. He works at the gallery Cheim & Read here in New York and gave me a copy of ‘Andy Warhol: Eros and Mortality: The Late Male Nudes’ that I thought was very interesting. Warhol hired massage therapists who he photographed in very impromptu lighting.

Our new contributor Regina Cherry invited me to see the Travis concert at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza. He and his wife happen to be her upstairs neighbor so the tickets were gratis. The after party at Beauty Bar was very cool. We left early to get some pizza so missed the arrival of the band later that night.

Le Tour de France is over.  I spent most of my mornings watching le tour live on Sputnik 2 TV from Denmark and listening to the audio on eurosport yahoo.

Onward to another subject that has been current on my agenda.    It seems that Second Life has abolished all of the casinos recently. I miss playing poker. I guess the Feds were cracking down on them so they were forced to shut down. It’s too bad we lost the game. Speaking of the Game, Epileptic Gaming Stickam is one of my favorite video casts. It comes on nightly at 7PM EDT. I hardly ever put on network TV now that we have Joost. It’s been years since I have watched the Today Show or Good Morning America. I wonder how much longer the network morning shows will last. Stay tuned.
